Ephrata powered thru brutal, windy conditions to get the offense going as the Lady Mounts picked up their first win in Section 1 play... beating Conestoga Valley 13-2! Ryleigh Warner had 6 goals on the night for the Lady Mounts, while Lyla Clement ended with 4, Kiera Wene had 2! Both players are over 30 goals apiece for Ephrata this season (Warner: 34 Goals -- Clement: 32 Goals)!
Rain-soaked night in Ephrata… Lady Mounts jumped out to an early lead, thanks to Kiersten Doutt’s pair of Goals (7’ & 10’) ⚽️? Manheim Central fought back with chances in the 2nd half but Ephrata won it 2-0… inching closer to that Section 2 Title! Make that 10 wins in a row for Ephrata Girls Soccer!
Lancaster Stormers busted out of a slump, beating Staten Island 13-4 in the first game of their series this week! Stormers got home runs from Shawon Dunston Jr., Justin Farmer & Damon Dues… plus, 5 RBI from Joseph Carpenter! All for of those guys combined for 13 RBI... starter Noah Bremer got the win, going 6 innings, giving up 9 hits and just 2 runs!
Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3?
