Warwick girls picked up a much needed win on the road against Garden Spot… 56-20! Warriors jumped out fast in the game 11-0 & finished strong to even up their record at 10-10! Bella Smithson led the scoring with 16 points! Warwick is right in contention for the Final District 3 Playoff spot… #13 in 5A!
?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Cocalico won its 3rd straight game early in the season with a 48-33 victory over Solanco! Corinne Fair led Cocalico with 13 points, 3-3pointers! Kira Lehman added 12 points! It’s the Lady Eagles highest scoring output of the season so far as they open up Section 2 play with a strong W!
