L-L League Football — Week 3: Cedar Crest vs. Warwick (9-6-24)
Warwick’s Offense & Defense worked extra hard in their 19-3 victory over Cedar Crest! It was the 1st win of the season for the Warriors, who handed the Falcons their first loss!
▪️ Quinn Care caught a TD pass from QB Thomas Myers, who also ran for a score! Warwick’s defense caused all sorts of turnovers, including several interceptions, a blocked punt, a safety & 3 fumbles recovered!
Boys Soccer: York Suburban vs. Manheim Central (9-5-24)
York Suburban headed back across Route 30 with a 1-0 Win against Manheim Central! Trojans won their 1st game of the year, in their only trip to Lancaster County in 2024! Quite a Defensive battle in this one… Trojans Goalie Gehret Gentzyel & Barons keeper Zach Spangler played stellar, but York Suburban scored off a 2nd half corner kick in the 51st minute! That lone goal held up for the victory!
Girls Soccer: Hershey vs. Manheim Central (9-3-24)
Manheim Central’s Offense went into “Attack Mode” early scoring 4 Goals in the 1st half against Hershey! Final score = 4-0… Lady Barons are 3-0 to start the season!

L-L League Football — Week 2: Manheim Central vs. Ephrata (8-30-24)
Ephrata came away with the HUGE 31-14 Win over Manheim Central! Mounts scored 17 unanswered points in the 4th quarter! Brayden Brown had 2 rushing TD's in the game & a crucial scoop and score on defense in that final quarter! Brown & QB Caleb Grant combined for 82 yards on the ground, 3 TD's! Ephrata off to a 2-0 start this season!
Boys Soccer: Conestoga Valley vs. Warwick (8-29-24)
Warwick beat OLD Section 1 rival Conestoga Valley 1-0 on a Connor Kirchner goal 5 minutes before halftime! It was his 4th goal of the year! Warwick improved to 3-0 on the season, ALL by way of shutout thanks to another good effort from Goalie Issac Yerger! Warriors have out scored opponents 13-0 in 3 games!
Boys Soccer: Governor Mifflin vs. Ephrata (8-26-24)
Ephrata boys soccer opened their season playing a full 100 minutes to a 1-1 draw against Governor Mifflin! Mounts Michael Straubel scored in the 28th minute to give Ephrata the lead, but Mustangs clanged one home off the crossbar right before halftime! Both keepers closed it down after that! Senior Austin Fries was Fantastic in goal for the Mounts!

L-L League Football — Week 1: Penn Manor vs. Conestoga Valley (8-23-24)
Conestoga Valley opened up the season with a convincing 35-0 Win over Penn Manor! Buckskins electric return man Jayden Johnson ran the opening kickoff back 94 yards for a touchdown! CV scored on it's next possession as well, led it 14-0! It was 26-0 at the half... all Buckskins in this one as new QB Sawyer Esbenshade threw 3 TD's in his debut as the Buckskins passer!
-- Conestoga Valley will be back on Blue Ridge 11 TV in Week 4 in a Section 2 Showdown at Ephrata (War Memorial Field - 7pm)
Atlantic League Baseball: Hagerstown vs. Lancaster (8-15-24)
Hagerstown mounted a 9th inning comeback against Lancaster & won it 9-8 in 10 innings to avoid a sweep by the Stormers! Lancaster had taken the lead in the 8th inning by scoring 4 runs, sparked by a 2 RBI double by Isan Diaz & a 2 run homer by Mason Martin! But a bench-clearing brawl halted all Stormers momentum & the Flying Boxcars get out of town with a win!
Atlantic League Baseball: Hagerstown vs. Lancaster (8-14-24)
Lancaster Stormers jumped all over Hagerstown early tonight, putting up 4 runs in the 1st... tacking on more runs later to win 8-2 over the Flying Boxcars! ▪️Bottom 1st: Isan Diaz blasted a solo homer, Joe Stewart smacked a 2 RBI double (scoring Niko Hulsizer & Mason Martin) & then Stewart came around to score on a Joe Carpenter RBI single! ▪️Brady Tedesco got the Win: 7 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 8 K’s
2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Warwick Warriors (8-2-24)
Warwick Head Coach Bob Locker & several of his players sat down with us at this year's football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Warriors are looking to bounce back from a tough 2023 & will have to do so while breaking in a new quarterback! Hear from Warwick as they have a fresh mindset heading into the 2024 Season!
