Survive & Advance for #2 Ephrata (16-5) as they held off #10 Mechanicsburg’s upset bid in the 6A Quarterfinals! It was a typical “Mounts Kind of Win”… Great pitching, Great base running, Won the game 2-1 on a balk! Mounts Senior pitcher Camryn Simes threw another gem (W=6.2 IP, 12 K, 3 H, 1 ER) & passed the 300 Career Strikeout Milestone! Sr. Chase Prange scored both runs for Ephrata & got the Final strikeout in relief to seal the Win!

Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-23-25)

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! Riley Hostetter got the win in the circle for Manheim Central!
