The magical run for Ephrata Girls Basketball came to an end in the Finals of the L-L League Tournament! Lancaster Catholic knocked off the Lady Mounts 58-43 to claim their RECORD 16th L-L League Title ?? Lady Mounts’ Jasmine Griffin led all scorers with 23 points, but it was Jeriyah Johnson & Rylee Kraft combining for 32 points in the Crusader win! Here’s our Championship Game recap…

Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Manheim Central wrapped up their season with a Big Win over Warwick… 42-21! Barons got their scoring started at 189lbs by Brodie Daugherty (Jr.) with a 13-1 Major Decision; followed by Noah Templin (So.) at 215lbs via Pin! Barrett Keiffer (So.) added an 11-3 Major Decision Win later in the match!
-- AAA Sectionals start Saturday, February 17! Both Warwick and Manheim Central will wrestle in Sectional #2 at Hempfield High School!
Boys Lacrosse: Penn Manor vs. Ephrata (4-22-25)
Ephrata led from start to finish against Penn Manor in a hard fought 11-8 Win! Mounts went up 6-0 after the 1st quarter, with 5 different Ephrata players contributing on the scoreboard! Once the Comets mounted a comeback, it was up to Tyler Thomas & Parker Snow to close out the victory with Ephrata’s final 5 goals! Mounts have 1 game remaining against Cocalico in the "Backyard Brawl" makeup game set for May 14!
