Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-19-24)

Cocalico celebrates Senior Night in a big way by knocking off Warwick 27-21, moving to 4-0 in the Section 2 standings! The Eagles now earn at least a share of the Section 2 Title & face Manheim Central next week for a chance to win it outright! As for the game... it was another huge night on the gridiron for Anthony Bourassa, who smashed his previous career high, churning out 330+ yards on the ground & 2 TD's! In a L-L League, Section 2 Baseball matchup... Elizabethtown came into War Memorial Field & stormed out with a 5-0 win over Ephrata! Bears' Starting Pitcher Jake Black got the CG Shutout win on the mound; 9 K’s! Oh yeah... AND had a solo HR, 1B, 2 RBI, 2 R! Here’s the highlights...

The "Backyard Brawl" lived up to the rivalry & tension, as Ephrata went up 1-0 after Game 1... but Cocalico came storming back to win the next 3 games! Eagles take round 1 between the Section 2 foes... 3-1! Yohanis Hildebrand had 22 kills for Cocalico; Owen Weaver had 24 for Ephrata!

In a match-up of the #1 & #2 teams in L-L Girl's Lacrosse... the Blue Streaks out-dueled the Lady Eagles in a highly competitive, fast-paced game... 15-8! Township won their record setting 11th straight League Title in Girl's Lacrosse, dating back to 2010! Check out the highlights from the Championship Game!
