L-L Boy’s Soccer: LMH vs. Cocalico (10-7-21)

What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! Warwick softball stayed unbeaten at 4-0 with a BIG Win over Section 1 rival Manheim Township… 7-5! Warriors Freshman Pitcher Kate Shaak picked up her 4th win of her career with 6 K’s! Bella Smithson went 3-4, 2R-HR, 3 RBI, 2 Runs & has a .600 batting average!

Lancaster waited until late in the game to pounce on Hagerstown, scoring all 5 runs in the 7th inning, thanks to a 3 run homer from Mason Martin (12th of the season)! Stormers beat the Flying Boxcars 5-2, Adam Wibert got the Win... Stephen Nogosek earned the save!

Once AGAIN… the Warwick Warriors are headed to the L-L League Boys 🏀 Championship & once again… they will face Cedar Crest!

▪️Warwick beat Lancaster Mennonite 59-35 in the L-L Semifinals, thanks to a Career-High 20 points from Caleb McCamant (3-3’s)! Ya’Majesty Washington added 18 points (4-3’s)… both players combined to outscore LMH 38-35! Warwick’s Defense also held Cody Fisher, the League’s 6th highest scorer (17PPG), to just 2 points!
