On the latest episode of Sportstalk, we broke down who's in all the new Sections & talked about title contenders! Warwick & Cocalico played to a 1-1 draw… AGAIN! Ella Shirk scored in the 4th minute, giving the Warriors a brief 1-0 lead! But Kira Lehman tied it up for Cocalico just minutes later on a header off a corner kick! Both teams spent the next 90 minutes, thru 2OT’s trying to net the game winner! ** (This is now twice this season these teams have played to a 1-1 tie)

🔹Cocalico finishes 8-0-2 & captures their FIRST Section 2 Title in program history

▪️Warwick is 6-1-2 in Section 2 & has clinched a berth in the League Playoffs! They have one game left in League play against Solanco on Monday, October 7!

Lancaster Stormers jumped all over Hagerstown early tonight, putting up 4 runs in the 1st... tacking on more runs later to win 8-2 over the Flying Boxcars! ▪️Bottom 1st: Isan Diaz blasted a solo homer, Joe Stewart smacked a 2 RBI double (scoring Niko Hulsizer & Mason Martin) & then Stewart came around to score on a Joe Carpenter RBI single! ▪️Brady Tedesco got the Win: 7 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 8 K’s

Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!
