Lancaster Stormers walk it off against Southern Maryland!
Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Noah Bremer pitched 5 innings for the Lancaster, giving up 2 hits, NO runs with 4 K’s! Phil Diehl got the Win for the Stormers, who took the series from the Blue Crabs with one more to go on Thursday, August 8!

Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
Major STATEMENT WIN for Cedar Crest in the L-L Finals, who not only knocked off 2X Defending League Champ Manheim Central by a score of 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19), BUT handed the Barons their first loss of the year! It’s the Falcons 1st League 🏐🏆 Title in school history! Cedar Crest also won the Section 1 Title for the first time EVER!
