Remember, the Manheim Touchdown Club awards the L-L League “Player of the Year” & L-L League “Lineman of the Year” at their banquet every Spring!

Manheim Township Girls Soccer is back on top of the L-L League once again after knocking off Rival Warwick 4-0 in the Championship Game! Blue Streaks held Warwick scoreless for the 3rd time this year! It's Township's 8th League Title ⚽️? in program history! Girls Soccer: Warwick vs Cocalico (10-1-24)

Warwick & Cocalico played to a 1-1 draw… AGAIN! Ella Shirk scored in the 4th minute, giving the Warriors a brief 1-0 lead! But Kira Lehman tied it up for Cocalico just minutes later on a header off a corner kick! Both teams spent the next 90 minutes, thru 2OT’s trying to net the game winner! ** (This is now twice this season these teams have played to a 1-1 tie)

🔹Cocalico finishes 8-0-2 & captures their FIRST Section 2 Title in program history

▪️Warwick is 6-1-2 in Section 2 & has clinched a berth in the League Playoffs! They have one game left in League play against Solanco on Monday, October 7!

Softball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-24-23)

We saw a pitcher's duel on the channel between Conestoga Valley's Rhiannon Henry & Ephrata's Ellie Meier, who both combined for 14 strikeouts! Lady Mounts broke the scoreless game open in the 5th with an Ellie Meier sacrifice fly! It was all Ephrata needed to beat CV 1-0!

-- The 3 Game Series between CV & Ephrata is tied 1-1! The final meeting this season will be Monday, May 1 at Conestoga Valley (4:15pm)
