Warwick Won their 1st EVER home playoff game in the PIAA State Tournament, beating Great Valley (District 1) 1-0! Antonio Vega played the hero for the Warriors, scored in the 60th minute! ▪️Make it 5 straight playoff games that GK Isaac Yerger & the Warwick Defense have pitched a shutout! ▪️Warwick (22-2-1) advanced to the 4A State Quarterfinals in back to back seasons… 3 out of the last 4 years & will play Saturday, November 8 against an opponent & site TBD!

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! In a Section 1 clash between Hempfield & Warwick... the Warriors pushed across 9 runs in the 1st inning to grab control of the momentum! Marlee Martin slugged a 2 run home run & Katie Heisey had a 3 run triple to help balloon the lead! Warwick's Kenzie Ellis & Sydney Lee combined for 5 runs, 3 hits & 3 walks from the top 2 spots in the batting lineup! Kate Shaak got the Win (7 IP, 3 R, 6 K, 1 BB) as Warwick beat Hempfield 12-3!
