?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Conestoga Valley powered their way to a 31-26 victory over Manheim Central, thanks to a STRONG 4th quarter! CV outscored the Lady Barons 18-10… Tia Logan had 9 of her team high 11 points in the 4th quarter! Maddie Gehman scored a game high 13 points for Manheim Central in the loss!

In a wild & wacky, run-scoring palooza… Warwick took down Section 1 foe JP McCaskey... 10-7! Warriors scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning, sending 11 hitters to the plate! Tommy Wainman (2-1) picked up the Win for Warwick! Alex Fair went 3-3, 2 RBI, 3-1b, 1 R! Michael Valudes also blasted a HR in the 5th inning!

2024 L-L League Boys Wrestling Championships (1-27-24)

The L-L League showcased its Best wrestlers over the weekend at their annual League Tournament, with some heavy-hitters in the brackets & crowned 13 new champions on the boys side! The most notable was Manheim Township Senior Kaedyn Williams at 114lbs, who joined the exclusive 4-time champion club 🥇🥇🥇🥇 Congrats Kaedyn!

-- Conestoga Valley won the team title in convincing fashion!
