2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Manheim Central Barons (8-2-24)

Manheim Central Head Coach Dave Hahn & several of his players sat down with us at this year’s football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Barons are looking to replace a bunch of skill positions, including quarterback… BUT feel they’ve put in the work this offseason to be ready to go heading into the 2024 Season! Hear what Manheim Central plans to focus on with a different group of guys!

Boys Soccer: Governor Mifflin vs. Ephrata (8-26-24)

Ephrata boys soccer opened their season playing a full 100 minutes to a 1-1 draw against Governor Mifflin! Mounts Michael Straubel scored in the 28th minute to give Ephrata the lead, but Mustangs clanged one home off the crossbar right before halftime! Both keepers closed it down after that! L-L Boy’s Soccer Semifinals: Manheim Central vs. Hempfield (10-19-21)

Barons and Black Knights went the distance... 80 minutes of regulation... 1 Goal apiece... Connor Caterbone (MC) & Nathan Leisure (Hempfield)! But after 2 scoreless Overtimes, penalty kicks decided a Winner! Guess who scored the victory clinching PK?! Hempfield Goalie Noah Felty! Check out the highlights from a Wild game...

Black Knights are onto the League Finals on Thursday against Section 1 Rival Warwick!

Field Hockey: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (10-2-24)

Manheim Central beat Cocalico 2-1 in a late season Section 2 showdown, with lots of playoff implications on the line!

🔹First quarter, Cocalico’s Maggie Allen scored quickly, followed soon after by a Lady Barons goal from Brooke Nelson! Action remained intense into the 3rd quarter, when Central’s Ella Brubaker scored the eventual game winner off a powerful strike from Paige Garner!
