#5 Warwick ran past #12 Shippensburg 23-7 to advance to the Quarterfinals of the 5A bracket! RB Heath Schnipke ran 20 times for 112 yards & 2 TDS with 2 catches for 50 yards! QB Thomas Myers started the game & punched in a 1 yard TD sneak! ▪️Next Week… 5A Quarterfinals: #5 Warwick (9-2) vs. #4 Solanco (9-1) on November 7 at Solanco HS! {Golden Mules beat the Warriors 35-7 in Week 4}

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! Riley Hostetter got the win in the circle for Manheim Central!

Baseball: Manheim Central vs. Ephrata (5-2-25)

Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
