L-L Girl’s Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (2-8-22)
Manheim Central gets the WIN & the Section 3 Title after knocking off rival Cocalico... 56-27! It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! Girls Lacrosse: Ephrata vs. Warwick (4-28-22)
In an L-L League Girls Lacrosse showdown between 2 cross-town rivals… Warwick jumped out to an early 6-2 lead over Ephrata, but had to hang on down the stretch to win 12-9! Seniors Clara Ford (5) & Katie Jeanes (3) led the Warriors in scoring! Mallory Kline had 3 goals for Ephrata! Check out the highlights from a great game!
District 3 Baseball Playoffs: 6A First Round – #12 Muhlenberg vs. #5 Ephrata (5-16-25)
Ephrata survived and advanced onto the next round of the 6A District 3 ⚾️ Tournament after a 2-0 Win over Muhlenberg! Nate Savage (Sr.) drove in the Mounts only 2 runs in the 3rd inning with a double! Ephrata's Camryn Simes threw a complete game, 1-hit shutout (7 IP, 6 K, 1 BB) to earn his 10th Win of the season!
