-- Eagles went on to beat #5 Trinity 19-9 in the Semis! It's also back to back years qualifying for the PIAA State Playoffs for this Cocalico program, which had NEVER been to States prior to last season!
Atlantic League Baseball: Southern Maryland vs. Lancaster (8-8-24)
Lancaster won a rain-soaked game against Southern Maryland 10-3 to complete the 3-game sweep of the Blue Crabs! Stormers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning & kept scoring every inning for the next 5 innings! Shawon Dunston & Trace Loehr each homered, while Damon Dues knocked home 3 more runs! Brady Tedesco threw 7.1 strong innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, striking out 9 batters!
-- Lancaster is on the road to visit the Lexington Legends for a weekend series, before returning home next week to face Hagerstown for the FINAL series to air on Blue Ridge 11 TV this Summer!
Boys Basketball: Ephrata vs. Warwick (1-3-25)
Warwick staked their claim as "Top Dog" in Section 2 with a 53-36 Win over Ephrata! Parker Horst (16pts) & Caleb McCamant (14pts) poured in Season Highs for the Warriors, who used a 16-7 advantage in the 3rd quarter to blow the game open! Marcus Hardin led Ephrata with 11 points!
