PIAA 5A Football Playoffs – Semifinals: Cocalico vs. Peters Township (12-1-23)

For the FIRST TIME EVER... Manheim Central Boys Basketball is headed to the L-L League Finals! The Barons took down Cedar Crest 49-46! Trey Grube (MC) led all scorers with 16 points; Aaron Enterline (MC) had 13 points & one Monster dunk!

-- Manheim Central plays Hempfield in the L-L Finals on Friday, February 17 at Manheim Township HS (7pm)

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! In Game 2 of the L-L League 🏐 Semifinals, Cocalico made Warwick work for the victory… stealing Game 4 (30-28)! But the Warriors ultimately won 3-1 over the Eagles to punch their ticket back to the League Finals for the 4th straight year! Kyle Charles had 23 kills in the win!
