L-L Girl’s Volleyball: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (10-14-21)

Cedar Crest punched their ticket to the L-L League Boys Title Game with a 40-37 win over Manheim Central! Barons' Aaron Enterline hit a game-tying 3pt attempt but it was after the buzzer! Central did hit 7 - 3pters in the game!

Manheim Central looked every bit a Top 3 AA team in the state of PA against Cocalico! Barons won 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-17)... handing the Eagles their only 2 losses in Section 2 play this year! Central also has yet to drop a game in a match this season (30-0 vs. opponents)! Barons improved to 8-0!

Hempfield & Warwick's "Championship Clash" in the L-L Boys Volleyball Final was another classic match in this rivalry series! The Warriors and Black Knights left it all out on the court, battling for each and every point, but it was Hempfield who earned their 24th League Title with a 3-1 win over Warwick! Manheim Central spotted Cocalico a 2-0 lead after the 1st inning… Alex Fox & Dane Horning scored the Eagles runs! But the Barons rattled off 12 unanswered runs after that & won the game 12-2 in 6 innings! Central’s Cody Hess went 3-3 with 3 RBI & a run scored, Carter Kyle & Cam Thompson combined for 3 hits, 2 walks & 4 runs scored! Barons starter Colin Connelly (2-1) got the Win (5 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 7 K’s, 6 BB)
