Cocalico won its 4th straight game, taking down Section 2 foe Warwick… 38-31! Kira Lehman led all scorers with 17 points for the Lady Eagles! Brielle Martin chipped in a Career High 8 points to help Cocalico pad their lead! Warwick was led by Reese Jeanes, who had 9 points, all on 3-pointers!
Girls Basketball: Conestoga Valley vs. Manheim Central (1-21-25)
Manheim Central turned up the heat on a cold winter night… beating Conestoga Valley 42-24 in a non-league matchup! Lady Barons outscored the Buckskins 17-4 in the 3rd quarter to seize control of the game!
▪️Lilah Walters led all scorers with 13 points! Gianna Walters added 12 points (4-3’s)! Bianca Henry led CV with 9 points!
Girls Basketball: Ephrata vs. Conestoga Valley (1-17-25)
Ephrata WON its 11th straight with a 58-50 victory over Conestoga Valley! Four Lady Mounts scored in double figures… Marie McCracken (15pts); Leah Caldwell (14pts); Alyssa Caldwell (13pts) & Emily Bender (11pts)! Azailya Washington scored a Season-High 23 points for the Buckskins, but it wasn’t enough as Ephrata hit 11 of 13 free throws in the 4th quarter!
🔸Ephrata (8-0) padded their lead in Section 2 over Conestoga Valley (6-2) winning both matchups this year!
Boys Basketball: Lancaster Catholic vs. Manheim Central (1-16-25)
Manheim Central got back on the winning track in a BIG way downing Lancaster Catholic 75-38! Mason Rodgers led all scorers with 14 points (3-3’s)! Landon Zeiset scored 11 of his 13 points in the 3rd quarter, including a monster dunk! Five Barons ended in double figures (Mason Olinger - 12pts; Ryan Kenneff - 10pts; Chase Book - 10pts)

Northern Lebanon outlasted a scrappy Manheim Central squad 37-32 in another crucial Section 3 matchup! Vikings shot 19-29 from the free throw line compared to the Lady Barons 6-8 night! Saorise Phillips led all scorers with 17 points for Northern Lebanon! Maddie Gehman had 9 points for Manheim Central! Vikings take both games this year...

Manheim Central stayed UNBEATEN (5-0) in Section 3 play after a 67-48 Win over Donegal! Barons went on a 40-20 run in the 2nd half to pull away from the Indians! Ryan Kenneff & Landon Zeiset each had monster games with 17 points apiece (combined 7-8 from the free throw line)! Donegal’s Joey Williams started off hot with 14 points at the half (4-3’s) but finished with 18 total in the game!

Round 1 of the “Backyard Brawl” went to Ephrata (4-1 Sec. 2) who knocked off rival Cocalico (3-3 Sec. 2) 58-43! Mounts used a 17-4 advantage in the 4th quarter to pull away! Ephrata’s Marqus Hardin led all scorers with 22 points! Landry Kopp & Grayson Shellhammer each added 11! Cocalico’s Timmy Hambright had 19 points, including 5 three-pointers!

Warwick staked their claim as "Top Dog" in Section 2 with a 53-36 Win over Ephrata! Parker Horst (16pts) & Caleb McCamant (14pts) poured in Season Highs for the Warriors, who used a 16-7 advantage in the 3rd quarter to blow the game open! Marcus Hardin led Ephrata with 11 points!

Palmyra Cougars pulled off a hard-fought 62-54 victory over the Warwick Warriors in a thrilling non-league matchup! Palmyra held a narrow 27-22 lead at halftime before extending it in the second half, thanks to standout performances from Alex Dorta, who led all scorers with 20 points. Ya’Majesty Washington led Warwick with 15 points, while Parker Horst added 10! Warrior suffered their first Loss of the season!

In their FIRST home game of the season, Warwick earned their FIRST Win of the season… 33-31 over Cocalico! Mia Warfel led the Warriors in scoring with 13 points, including the go-ahead bucket with 13 seconds left in the game! Kira Lehman led all scorers with 16 points (10 in the 4th; 6-8 FT in 4th)… Corinne Fair had 9 points (3-3’s) for Cocalico!
