L-L League Boys Basketball Playoffs — Finals: Warwick vs. Cedar Crest (2/14/25)

Cedar Crest defeated Warwick 45-40 to win the L-L League Boys Title Back-to-Back & their 6th in school history! RJ Young scored 9 first quarter points to give the Falcons a 13-6 lead! Warwick stormed back in the 2nd quarter with a 14-4 run to take a 20-19 lead at halftime! In the 3rd quarter, the Falcons went on a 10-0 run to take a 29-22 lead only to see Warwick answer with an 8-0 run to take the lead BACK, to finish the quarter leading 32-31! Cedar Crest finished strong in the 4th, out-scoring the Warriors 14-8 to raise the trophy again! Seniors Danny Speaks and RJ Young each scored 14 points to lead Cedar Crest, while Senior Parker Horst led all scorers with 15 points for Warwick!

— 6A District 3 Playoffs begin Tuesday, February 18 for both of these teams! #12 Cedar Crest will visit #5 Wilson! #7 Warwick will host #10 Governor Mifflin! Winners advance to the 6A Quarterfinals… losers’ season is over!

Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-19-24)

Cocalico & Manheim Central got themselves into a “Hitters Duel” AND it was Highly Entertaining 🤩👏👏 Lady Eagles took the early 6-1 lead, but Central stormed back on an 11-1 spurt… eventually winning 17-10! Riley Hostetter got the Win & had 8 K’s for the Lady Barons, who made it 5 wins in a row!

5A District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs (Championship): Exeter vs. Manheim Central (3-2-23)

And the Gold Medal goes to... the Exeter Eagles, who knocked off #1 Manheim Central 67-53 in the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Barons never really had an answer for 6'7" Anthony Caccese, who had a Game-High 22 points for Exeter! Trey Grube led Central with 19 points & had a pair of 3pters... which moved his L-L Record up to 305 Career 3pters made!

Both Exeter & Manheim Central move onto the PIAA 5A State Tournament on Friday, March 10!
