L-L Boy’s Soccer: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (9-7-21)

It was National Signing Day & Cocalico High School got in on the fun by honoring more than a dozen athletes! Here’s our recap from the day’s festivities...

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Ephrata Lady Mounts grabbed bragging rights again in the “Backyard Brawl” after completing the comeback against Cocalico… 33-30! Ephrata was down 21-12 at half, but outscored Cocalico 21-9 in the 2nd half!
