Atlantic League Baseball: Long Island vs. Lancaster (6-30-24)

Lancaster ended June on a winning note… beating Long Island 14-4! Stormers scored 4 runs in the 1st & padded their lead with 7 runs in the 7th inning! Starter Noah Bremer got the Win to improve his record to 6-3! Lancaster took the weekend series from the Ducks (2-1) & won 4 of 6 on the home stand (2-1 vs. Staten Island)!

In a matchup of former Section 2 rivals, Warwick & Cocalico squared off in Week 1 of the 2022 High School Football Season!! Eagles came away with the win… 42-27! Warriors led it early 14-0, but Cocalico rallied in a big way & went on a 42-6 run to seal the win! Check out the highlights here…

Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-27-22)

Manheim Central Softball SLUGGED their way to victory over Cocalico... 16-0 in 3 innings! Lady Barons had 3 Home Runs on the night… a pair of 2-Run HR’s for Kayleigh Detz & a 3-Run HR for Miranda Ober ??? ?Career Milestone? Gabby Wettig smacked her 100th hit as a Lady Baron! Congrats Gabby & Good Luck to Manheim Central as they approach postseason time! Check out these highlights...

Girls Lacrosse: Garden Spot vs. Cocalico (4-8-24)

Cocalico stayed unbeaten (5-0) in Section 2 play with a 22-15 Win over Garden Spot! Lady Eagles Senior Danika Sauder scored her 200th Career Goal in the 1st quarter! Spartan Senior Gwen Varley answered with her 200th Goal in the 2nd quarter! Both girls had 9 goals each in the game, which is a season high for both!
