In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! It was “Dig Pink Night” for the annual “Backyard Brawl” in girls volleyball 🩷🏐🩷 Ephrata jumped out to the early 2-0 lead, but Cocalico grabbed Game 3… 25-18 to avoid the sweep! Lady Mounts regrouped & won Game 4… 25-15 to take the match 3-1! Ephrata's Sofia Rios had a Great serving night with 7 total aces! Martina Elliot led the team with 14 kills! For the Lady Eagles, Jaclyn Niven had 16 kills and 5 blocks!
