Cocalico Football 2021 Season Preview

On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local girls basketball teams! In this conversation, we looked at the Ephrata Lady Mounts & Manheim Central Lady Barons... who are both chasing Section Titles this season! Mounts remained unbeaten this season... knocking off Garden Spot 1-0 in a game called at halftime for lightning & storms! It was made official… meaning Ephrata recorded their 4th shutout of the season now 4-0-2 overall... 3-0-1 in Section 2 play! Check out these first half highlights…

Lancaster finally took a game from the York Revolution... 4-3! Niko Hulsizer & Joe Stewart combined to go 5-7 with 2 HR's, a triple & a double with 3 RBI! Stormers kept their 3 game lead in the North Division over the Revs!

Cocalico won the RIVALRY showdown with Manheim Central 30-14! Josh Myer, Brayden Eppinette & Dane Horning all had rushing TD’s for the Eagles, who racked up 342 yards on the ground! But it was a 67 yard punt return for a touchdown from Eppinette that blew the game open in the 3rd quarter! For the Barons, QB Ray Lewis connected on 2 passing TD’s!
