In Game 1 of the Atlantic League North Division Championship Series… Southern Maryland came away with a narrow 2-1 win over Lancaster! It was a pitcher’s duel on full display, with each Starting Pitcher giving up just 1 earned run... but the Stormers came up just short after an exciting 9th inning at Clipper Magazine Stadium ?⚾️? Wednesday night on SportsTalk's 30 minute HS Hoops Special, the guys talked about the ongoing 2021 L-L League Basketball Playoffs, featuring the Warwick Boys as well as Cocalico Girls & Boys! Chad, Eric and Tim also discussed the District 3 rankings & what they thought each team could accomplish in the District 3 postseason (Cocalico Boys/Girls, Ephrata Girls, Manheim Central Boys/Girls, Warwick Boys)! In a low-scoring, defensive battle between Section 3 contenders Cocalico and Warwick, the game came down to the last play… a Hail Mary that felt incomplete for the Warriors! Eagles win a tight one 10-7!

 ♦ Warwick scored in the 1st quarter on a 14 yard TD connection between QB Thomas Myers & WR Judah Willard!

🔹 Cocalico answered back in the 2nd quarter on a long, 89 yard TD dash by Brayden Eppinette! Neither team scored again until Talen Popolis kicked the game-winning field late in the 4th quarter!
