L-L Girl’s Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (2-8-22)
Manheim Central gets the WIN & the Section 3 Title after knocking off rival Cocalico... 56-27! It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! Baseball: Northern Lebanon vs. Cocalico (3/24/25)
Northern Lebanon picked up a 13-2 win over Cocalico in non-league action! Vikings Senior pitcher Brian Bicksler (2-1) was strong on the mound (5.1 IP, 3H, 2 R, 7 K) in the Win! Northern Lebanon's 2-3-4 hitters (Adrian Gonzalez, Connor Stoltz, Riley Messinger) were a combined 7-9 at the plate with 6 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles & 2 walks! Cocalico pushed across to runs late in the 6th inning, but could not hold off the Vikings offensive attack!
Northern Lebanon improved to 4-1, while Cocalico dropped to 1-4!
