2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Cocalico Eagles (8-2-24)

Ephrata collected another rivalry win to start the season 2-0! Mounts took down Warwick 10-4 & beat Cocalico 4-0 on Friday, March 24! The top 4 hitters for the Mounts went 5-9 with 6 walks & 9 runs scored, including Coy Schwanger’s surprise steal of home!

The Lady Mounts improved to 6-0 after they beat Cocalico 32-19 in this year's "Backyard Brawl"! It's Ephrata's BEST start to a season in almost 2 Decades! Jasmine Griffin led all scorers with 17 points, which moved her into 2nd All-Time in Ephrata history with 1,164 points (at the time)!

On our annual "Sportstalk L-L Football Coaches Show Extravaganza", we chatted with Ephrata Football Head Coach Kris Miller about his Mounts squad! #6 Manheim Central moved onto the next round of 5A District 3 Playoffs after a 32-25 win over #11 Cocalico! Lady Barons also qualified for the PIAA State Tournament in March! For Central, Gianna Walters had 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers… giving her a Single-Season High 51–3’s (101 Career)! Maddie Gehman added 11 points, 9 in the first half to get the Lady Barons going! Cocalico’s Kira Lehman dropped a Game-High 14 points, but the Lady Eagles season ended at 12-11!
