Spartans won a back & forth contest that saw the Mounts lead 3-1 after the 1st qt, then the Spartans grabbed a 7-4 halftime lead only to watch Ephrata close it to 8-7 after 3 quarters! In one of the most EXCITING & entertaining wrestling matches of the year… Warwick knocked off Manheim Central 39-27 for their first win of the season! The Warriors took an early 14-0 lead over the Barons with wins at 121, 127, & 133! But Central dug themselves out of a big hole with pins from AJ Hondru (172), Noah Templin (189), & Brodie Daugherty (FFT-215) to lead it 27-23! However, Julian Rodriguez’s pin at 285 catapulted Warwick back into the lead and the Warriors finished strong for the victory!
