L-L Boy’s Soccer: Warwick vs. Conestoga Valley (9-28-21)

It was National Signing Day & Cocalico High School got in on the fun by honoring more than a dozen athletes! Here’s our recap from the day’s festivities...

Conestoga Valley opened up the season with a convincing 35-0 Win over Penn Manor! Buckskins electric return man Jayden Johnson ran the opening kickoff back 94 yards for a touchdown! CV scored on it's next possession as well, led it 14-0! It was 26-0 at the half... all Buckskins in this one as new QB Sawyer Esbenshade threw 3 TD's in his debut as the Buckskins passer!

-- Conestoga Valley will be back on Blue Ridge 11 TV in Week 4 in a Section 2 Showdown at Ephrata (War Memorial Field - 7pm)

In Game 1 of the Atlantic League North Division Championship Series… Southern Maryland came away with a narrow 2-1 win over Lancaster! It was a pitcher’s duel on full display, with each Starting Pitcher giving up just 1 earned run... but the Stormers came up just short after an exciting 9th inning at Clipper Magazine Stadium ?⚾️? For the FIRST TIME EVER... Manheim Central Boys Basketball is headed to the L-L League Finals! The Barons took down Cedar Crest 49-46! Trey Grube (MC) led all scorers with 16 points; Aaron Enterline (MC) had 13 points & one Monster dunk!
