Ephrata won their FIRST State Playoff game in program History in a wild, come from behind victory over Peters Township… 9-7! Mounts trailed 4-2 Bottom of the 4th… then rattled off 7 straight runs in that inning… took a 9-4 lead & held on for the 9-7 WIN!
Mounts move onto the 5A State Quarterfinals vs. Donegal on Thursday, June 9! It’ll be the 2nd time these teams face off in the past 2 weeks… Ephrata got the win 11-1 over Donegal in the District 3 Semifinals!
Cocalico celebrates Senior Night in a big way by knocking off Warwick 27-21, moving to 4-0 in the Section 2 standings! The Eagles now earn at least a share of the Section 2 Title & face Manheim Central next week for a chance to win it outright! As for the game... it was another huge night on the gridiron for Anthony Bourassa, who smashed his previous career high, churning out 330+ yards on the ground & 2 TD's! Ephrata powered thru brutal, windy conditions to get the offense going as the Lady Mounts picked up their first win in Section 1 play... beating Conestoga Valley 13-2! Ryleigh Warner had 6 goals on the night for the Lady Mounts, while Lyla Clement ended with 4, Kiera Wene had 2! Both players are over 30 goals apiece for Ephrata this season (Warner: 34 Goals -- Clement: 32 Goals)!

#5 Cocalico won convincingly in the 1st round of the 3A District 3 ⚽️ Playoffs… beating #12 Eastern York 5-0! Timmy Hambright scored first for the Eagles in the 6th minute & scored again in the 36th minute to give him 2 of Cocalico’s 5 goals! Talen Popolis (13 goals: team lead) had 2 as well for the Eagles! Eli Barry added to the scoring just a minute into the 2nd half! This is the most goals in a single game by Cocalico this season!
