Mounts move onto the 5A State Quarterfinals vs. Donegal on Thursday, June 9! It’ll be the 2nd time these teams face off in the past 2 weeks… Ephrata got the win 11-1 over Donegal in the District 3 Semifinals!
Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Ephrata dropped a 9-6 non-league matchup against the #4 ranked team in 6A District 3… Cumberland Valley! Mounts took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning after Landry Weidner crushed a 2 run homer to left! But the Eagles went on an 8-1 run after that and staved off a late-inning, bases loaded rally to beat the Mounts!
