In a Section 1 clash between Hempfield & Warwick… the Warriors pushed across 9 runs in the 1st inning to grab control of the momentum! Marlee Martin slugged a 2 run home run & Katie Heisey had a 3 run triple to help balloon the lead! Warwick’s Kenzie Ellis & Sydney Lee combined for 5 runs, 3 hits & 3 walks from the top 2 spots in the batting lineup! Kate Shaak got the Win (7 IP, 3 R, 6 K, 1 BB) as Warwick beat Hempfield 12-3!
Elco earned the 3-0 shutout against Manheim Central in early, non-league action! Jevan Marquette (13’), Cru Frederick (23’) & Ben Macchione (55’) scored for the Raiders! Central Goalie Zach Spangler made a nice PK save in the opening minutes of the game, the Elco Offense was too much! Barons drop Game 1 of the season, while Elco moves to 2-0 with a 4-0 margin of victory!
Manheim Central (12-0) stayed UNBEATEN in Section 2 play after the Barons knocked off Conestoga Valley 3-0! On a special Senior Night, Central got contributions from Reagan Miller (Sr.) with 14 kills, Dylan Musser (Sr.) 3 service aces and 28 assists, & Landon Mattiace (Sr.) with 6 solo blocks!

Cocalico took care of business against Garden Spot in a Section 2 matchup, beating the Spartans 3-0 (25-6, 25-17, 25-15)! Eagles moved to 8-1 overall & 5-1 in Section 2, just a game back of Manheim Central! 🔹Josh Byrom led the Eagles with 10 kills, Reilly Stark had 7! Senior Colson Hildebrand served really well with 9 aces thru out the 3 games! Jacob Wambolt had 26 assists!
