Marlee Martin slugged a 2 run home run & Katie Heisey had a 3 run triple to help balloon the lead! Warwick’s Kenzie Ellis & Sydney Lee combined for 5 runs, 3 hits & 3 walks from the top 2 spots in the batting lineup! Kate Shaak got the Win (7 IP, 3 R, 6 K, 1 BB) as Warwick beat Hempfield 12-3!
Warwick got strong efforts by the Offense & Defense in a 35-12 Win over Avon Grove! Warriors stormed out to a 28-0 lead at the half & held off a late rally by the Sun Devils to get the victory!
🔹 Senior QB Thomas Myers threw 3 TD’s in the season opener, while RB Heath Schnipke found the end zone twice! DB Asher Willard hauled in 2 interceptions as Warwick earned Win #1 of the 2025 Season!
Elco earned the 3-0 shutout against Manheim Central in early, non-league action! Jevan Marquette (13’), Cru Frederick (23’) & Ben Macchione (55’) scored for the Raiders! Central Goalie Zach Spangler made a nice PK save in the opening minutes of the game, the Elco Offense was too much! Barons drop Game 1 of the season, while Elco moves to 2-0 with a 4-0 margin of victory!
Hempfield kept their PERFECT season (21-0) alive, knocking off Ephrata 2-1 in the L-L League Baseball Championship Game! It’s Hempfield’s 1st League ⚾️🏆 since 2014 & their 10th overall! Black Knights starting pitcher Brody Gebhard got the Win (6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 6 K, 4 BB)… Mounts starting pitcher Collin Miller went toe to toe with Hempfield’s hitter but got the loss (5.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 6 K, 2 BB)
