Manheim Central’s History-Making run in the PIAA State Playoffs came to an end Sunday! Lady Barons fell 49-34 to West York in the 5A Girls 2nd Round! Lady Barons’ Maddie Knier led ALL scorers with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as 4 Bulldogs scored in double-figures! Manheim Central finished the season 20-8, with a Section 3 Co-Championship, a 4th place finish in District 3 & the First EVER State Playoff win in program history!

Great matchup between Ephrata and Cocalico girls ⚽️ in the “Backyard Brawl”… the ONLY meeting this season! But despite both teams’ Best effort… neither Offense scored against the other’s Defense! #1 Manheim Central punched their ticket back to the 2A Championship Game after beating #4 Linville Hill Christian 3-0 in the District 3 Semifinals! Central’s Reagan Miller had 13 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 10! Dylan Musser had a whopping 41 assists to go along with 3 solo blocks & 1 ace!

L-L Boy’s Basketball Playoffs (Semifinals): LS vs Manheim Central (2-16-22)
Lampeter-Strasburg & Manheim Central squared off for the 3rd time this year… this time in the L-L League Semifinals! While both offenses were sizzlin…including each squad hitting 11-3pters… it was LS getting the win again, 75-68! Ty Burton was sensational, had a Season High 33 points for Lampeter-Strasburg!
