In a showdown of L-L League rivals… #5 Warwick knocked off #4 Hempfield 2-1 to advance to the 6A Semifinals! Warriors also won the season series 3-1 against the Black Knights! Kate Shaak got the win for the Warriors with 4 K's, 2 BB, 4 H, 1 R!

L-L League Football — Week 5: Warwick vs. Cocalico (9-20-24)
In a low-scoring, defensive battle between Section 3 contenders Cocalico and Warwick, the game came down to the last play… a Hail Mary that felt incomplete for the Warriors! Eagles win a tight one 10-7!
♦ Warwick scored in the 1st quarter on a 14 yard TD connection between QB Thomas Myers & WR Judah Willard!
🔹 Cocalico answered back in the 2nd quarter on a long, 89 yard TD dash by Brayden Eppinette! Neither team scored again until Talen Popolis kicked the game-winning field late in the 4th quarter!
-- Cocalico: 2-0 in Section 3... 3-2 overall

Girls Volleyball: Cocalico vs. Ephrata (10-7-24)
It was “Dig Pink Night” for the annual “Backyard Brawl” in girls volleyball 🩷🏐🩷 Ephrata jumped out to the early 2-0 lead, but Cocalico grabbed Game 3… 25-18 to avoid the sweep! Lady Mounts regrouped & won Game 4… 25-15 to take the match 3-1! Ephrata's Sofia Rios had a Great serving night with 7 total aces! Martina Elliot led the team with 14 kills! For the Lady Eagles, Jaclyn Niven had 16 kills and 5 blocks!
