On our annual "Sportstalk L-L Football Coaches Show Extravaganza", we chatted with Manheim Central Football Head Coach Dave Hahn about his Baron team! Check out the full interview with Coach Hahn, who answered questions about the Berks/L-L football merger, the new QB in Baron Country (with a special connection), emerging Offensive Weapons, stalwart Defensive Weapons and oh yeah, a VERY Unique wrinkle in the Barons' schedule this year!

Ephrata claimed bragging rights this year, sweeping the “Backyard Brawl” 2-0 against Cocalico! In Round 2 of the Rivalry, Mounts won 54-34 at the Eagles Nest… Landry Kopp led all scorers with 18 points (2-3's)! Marqus Hardin (11 points) & Grayson Shellhammer (10 points) were both in double figures for Ephrata! Ty Wealand (4-3’s) led the Eagles with 14 points, Camden Ochs added 11!

🔹Both teams now turn their attention to the District 3 Playoffs the week of February 18!

An absolute CLASSIC District 3 Playoff softball game! #9 Ephrata & #8 Manheim Central traded runs & Momentum each inning, putting on a THRILLING show for the fans in attendance!

-- Lady Mounts led early 3-2... Lady Barons fought back to make it 4-4!

-- Ephrata re-took the lead 8-4 in the 6th... Central stormed back to tie it 8-8!

-- Ephrata answered right back in the 7th with 8 runs... 16-8!

-- Bottom 7th, Central clawed back to make it 16-14, but the rally ended short there!

-- Ephrata advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, May 25 against #1 Solanco
