Major STATEMENT WIN for Cedar Crest in the L-L Finals, who not only knocked off 2X Defending League Champ Manheim Central by a score of 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19), BUT handed the Barons their first loss of the year! It’s the Falcons 1st League 🏐🏆 Title in school history! Cedar Crest also won the Section 1 Title for the first time EVER!
District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs (6A Finals): Warwick vs Reading (3-5-22)
Warwick’s bid to win their 1st District 3 Title since 1984 ran out of steam as #1 Reading handed the Warriors a 68-43 loss in the 6A Finals! It was Reading’s 23rd ?? a District 3 record! Ruben Rodriguez had a Game-High 23 points for the Red Knights... check out these game highlights! For the Warriors, Tate Landis, Avery Sapp & Caleb Johnsen all had 10 points! Warwick now moves onto the 6A PIAA State Tournament. They host District 7, 4th Place team... Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday, March 9 at 6pm!
Field Hockey: Ephrata vs Warwick (9-11-24)
Warwick continued their impressive streak this season, advancing to an undefeated 8-0 record with a 6-0 victory over Ephrata! In a standout performance, Bree Zoccolo, who recently became Warwick's all-time leading scorer, made a significant impact by netting 2 goals! Additionally, the team's offensive effort was well-rounded, with several other players. Taylor Hess, Karys Craver, Mara Moyer, and Miriam Jackson each added to the scorebook. The Lady Warriors continue to build momentum in Section 1 & have only given up 3 goals all season!
