L-L League Wrestling Championships: Boys & Girls Finals (1/25/25)

On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local boys basketball teams! In this conversation, we looked at the Warwick Warriors, who are chasing another Section 2 Title this season! Lancaster Stormers walk it off against Southern Maryland!

Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Noah Bremer pitched 5 innings for the Lancaster, giving up 2 hits, NO runs with 4 K's! Phil Diehl got the Win for the Stormers, who took the series from the Blue Crabs with one more to go on Thursday, August 8!

For the FIRST TIME EVER... Manheim Central Boys Basketball is headed to the L-L League Finals! The Barons took down Cedar Crest 49-46! Trey Grube (MC) led all scorers with 16 points; Aaron Enterline (MC) had 13 points & one Monster dunk!

L-L League Girls Volleyball hit the court this week on Blue Ridge 11 ? Conestoga Valley looked solid against Section 1 foe Warwick, who did put up a fight in Game 3, but ultimately CV got the sweep 3-0! Check out the highlights here & catch more Girls ? on the channel this Fall ?
