L-L League Girls Basketball Playoffs: Quarterfinals | Columbia vs. Ephrata (2-9-26)

Ephrata punched their ticket to the L-L Semifinals with a Great Defensive performance against Columbia, holding the Crimson Tide to just 2 points in the first half! Lady Mounts got the Win 33-14! Ephrata’s Leah Caldwell & Emily Bender (1-3’s) led all scorers with 9 points each! Alyssa Caldwell added 8 points; Ella Pike had 7! Columbia’s Lexie Droege had 6 points for the Crimson Tide! ▪️Wacky stat of the Day: Columbia held Ephrata to Zero points in the 1st qt AND the Lady Mounts held the Tide to Zero points in the 2nd qt! Halftime score was 11-2 Ephrata! 🔹 Ephrata (18-4, Section 2 Co-Champ) will face Cedar Crest (12-10, Section 1 Co-Champ) on Wednesday in the L-L League Semifinals at Hempfield HS (7:30pm)! We’ll be LIVE in Landisville for a Doubleheader of L-L League girls basketball playoffs on Wednesday!

Ephrata dropped a 9-6 non-league matchup against the #4 ranked team in 6A District 3… Cumberland Valley! Mounts took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning after Landry Weidner crushed a 2 run homer to left! But the Eagles went on an 8-1 run after that and staved off a late-inning, bases loaded rally to beat the Mounts!
