Manheim Central gets the WIN & the Section 3 Title after knocking off rival Cocalico… 56-27! It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! Check out these highlights…

Girls Basketball: Warwick vs. Ephrata (1-13-23)

In a battle of Section 2 Title contenders... Ephrata knocked off Warwick 31-21! Lady Mounts and Warriors are both 4-1 in Section Play, looking up at Manheim Central (5-0)

Jasmine Griffin (Eph) led all scores with 14pts; Leah Caldwell (Eph) had 9! Bella Smithson (War) had 11pts!

The rematch is Tuesday, February 7 at Warwick HS!

Girls Soccer: Warwick vs Cocalico (10-1-24)

Warwick & Cocalico played to a 1-1 draw… AGAIN! Ella Shirk scored in the 4th minute, giving the Warriors a brief 1-0 lead! But Kira Lehman tied it up for Cocalico just minutes later on a header off a corner kick! Both teams spent the next 90 minutes, thru 2OT’s trying to net the game winner! ** (This is now twice this season these teams have played to a 1-1 tie)

🔹Cocalico finishes 8-0-2 & captures their FIRST Section 2 Title in program history

▪️Warwick is 6-1-2 in Section 2 & has clinched a berth in the League Playoffs! They have one game left in League play against Solanco on Monday, October 7!
