L-L Field Hockey: Hempfield vs. Ephrata (9-8-21)

Cocalico's "Cinderella Story" in the HS Football postseason came to an end in the 5A PIAA State Semifinals with a 34-12 loss against District 7 Champ, Pine-Richland! The Eagles, who came in as the 5A District 3 Champs feel behind 21-0 at the half & could complete the 2nd half comeback! Cocalico ends their season 10-5 with the program's 4th District Title & 3rd appearance in the State Semifinals!

Cocalico Won the “Backyard Brawl” on the volleyball court, beating Ephrata 3-1 in Round #2 & 2-0 in the season series! Eagles Sr. Yohanis Hildebrand had 13 kills & 6 aces!

🔹Cocalico qualified for League Playoffs (2nd place in Section 2) & will face the Section 1 Champ on Monday, May 13!

🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!

Cocalico Boys Basketball wrapped up their season with a tough loss to Lancaster Catholic…55-41! Sr. Brycen Flinton led the Eagles with 14pts… Crusaders were led by Seniors Jack Engle & Raaker Smith, 17 & 14pts respectively! Here are the game highlights…
