Hempfield & Warwick’s “Championship Clash” in the L-L Boys Volleyball Final was another classic match in this rivalry series! The Warriors and Black Knights left it all out on the court, battling for each and every point, but it was Hempfield who earned their 24th League Title with a 3-1 win over Warwick! Manheim Township cruises back into the L-L League Championship Game, where they are the 2-time defending champs, after a 3-0 win against Warwick in the League Semifinals! Liv Parmer scored twice for the Blue Streaks & Jordan Nguyen added onto her team lead in goal scoring as well!

For the 2nd time this season, Conestoga Valley pushed Warwick to their limits! BUT the Warriors came away with the Win AGAIN… 3-1! Warwick stayed atop the Section 1 standings at 6-1 with a HUGE matchup against Cedar Crest (their only loss in 2024) looming next Tuesday, April 23!
Ephrata made it 2 Wins in a row against Manheim Central with a 17-6 Win in Week 2! Barons RB Logan Geib put Central in front 6-0 with a 7yd rushing TD! But the Mounts ran off 17 unanswered points to get the victory! QB Carson Martin had 2 passing TD's (Frain & Grant) along with 2 tackles for loss & a sack on defense!
Fun fact: this was Ephrata's 400th Win in program history, dating back to their start in 1910! The Mounts are 2-0 to kickoff the 2025 Season & will be on Blue Ridge 11 in Week 3 vs. Garden Spot!
Ephrata WON its 11th straight with a 58-50 victory over Conestoga Valley! Four Lady Mounts scored in double figures… Marie McCracken (15pts); Leah Caldwell (14pts); Alyssa Caldwell (13pts) & Emily Bender (11pts)! Azailya Washington scored a Season-High 23 points for the Buckskins, but it wasn’t enough as Ephrata hit 11 of 13 free throws in the 4th quarter!
