Baseball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-22-24)

Ephrata wins Round #2 against Conestoga Valley in a tight one… 6-3! Nathan Savage went the distance for the Mounts for the W & had 4 K’s, 2 BB! Top 3 Ephrata hitters (Hunt, Prange, Wolf) scored 5 of the 6 Mounts runs… Custer added the 6th run!

🔸Ephrata is 8-1 atop Section 2 with a BIG game coming up Friday Night against 2nd Place Lampeter-Strasburg (Blue Ridge 11 TV game - 7pm)

Atlantic League Baseball: Southern Maryland vs. Lancaster (8-7-24)

Lancaster Stormers walk it off against Southern Maryland!

Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Noah Bremer pitched 5 innings for the Lancaster, giving up 2 hits, NO runs with 4 K's! Phil Diehl got the Win for the Stormers, who took the series from the Blue Crabs with one more to go on Thursday, August 8!

A team win for the Lady Eagles, as Senior Hannah Custer led Cocalico with 13 points & one major defensive assignment on Fleetwood’s Alexis Hess... a Division 1 recruit!
