But the Eagles went on an 8-1 run after that and staved off a late-inning, bases loaded rally to beat the Mounts!

Hempfield kept their PERFECT season (21-0) alive, knocking off Ephrata 2-1 in the L-L League Baseball Championship Game! It’s Hempfield’s 1st League ⚾️🏆 since 2014 & their 10th overall! Black Knights starting pitcher Brody Gebhard got the Win (6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 6 K, 4 BB)… Mounts starting pitcher Collin Miller went toe to toe with Hempfield’s hitter but got the loss (5.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 6 K, 2 BB)
