Once again the YEARLY “Grudge Match” between Cocalico & Manheim Central ? did NOT disappoint! Barons & Eagles traded points, turnovers & the lead throughout… but it was Manheim Central getting the Big Win…35-19! Barons move to 3-0 this season! Check out the highlights here...

Wednesday night on SportsTalk's 30 minute HS Hoops Special, the guys talked about the ongoing 2021 L-L League Basketball Playoffs, featuring the Warwick Boys as well as Cocalico Girls & Boys! Chad, Eric and Tim also discussed the District 3 rankings & what they thought each team could accomplish in the District 3 postseason (Cocalico Boys/Girls, Ephrata Girls, Manheim Central Boys/Girls, Warwick Boys)! And the Gold Medal goes to... the Exeter Eagles, who knocked off #1 Manheim Central 67-53 in the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Barons never really had an answer for 6'7" Anthony Caccese, who had a Game-High 22 points for Exeter! Trey Grube led Central with 19 points & had a pair of 3pters... which moved his L-L Record up to 305 Career 3pters made!

Both Exeter & Manheim Central move onto the PIAA 5A State Tournament on Friday, March 10!
