L-L Baseball Final: Manheim Central vs. Lampeter-Strasburg (5-20-21)

Cocalico's "Cinderella Story" in the HS Football postseason came to an end in the 5A PIAA State Semifinals with a 34-12 loss against District 7 Champ, Pine-Richland! The Eagles, who came in as the 5A District 3 Champs feel behind 21-0 at the half & could complete the 2nd half comeback! Cocalico ends their season 10-5 with the program's 4th District Title & 3rd appearance in the State Semifinals!

Warwick stays unbeaten in Section 2 after a 3-1 Win over Cocalico! It's the 2nd time the Warriors have beaten the Lady Eagles this season! Warwick is fighting for a league playoff berth in Section 2!

We saw a pitcher's duel on the channel between Conestoga Valley's Rhiannon Henry & Ephrata's Ellie Meier, who both combined for 14 strikeouts! Lady Mounts broke the scoreless game open in the 5th with an Ellie Meier sacrifice fly! It was all Ephrata needed to beat CV 1-0!

Manheim Central Lady Barons completed the PERFECT 12-0 run thru Section 2... winning the Season Finale 59-38 over Warwick! MC Senior Maddie Knier dropped a Career High 32 points in the WIN! Manheim Central claims the Section 2 Title & finishes the season 19-3!
