L-L Baseball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-9-21)

Ephrata Girls ⚽️ EARNED another Big Win in the District 3 Playoffs… their 26th in program history… Lady Mounts handled business in the 1st Round against Cedar Crest… 4-1! Leading scorer Emily Weidner put home Goals #20 & #21 this season; Cara Tiesi & Bella Pratt also scored! Mounts moving onto the 4A Quarterfinals!

Manheim Central rallied late in the game to take Round 1 against Cocalico… 4-3! Barons exploded for 3 runs in the 6th inning, capped off by Ky Watson’s RBI 1b! Trevor Lowe picked up the Win! Trent Dickson threw 6 solid innings with 7 K's, but was chased in the 6th! Nolan Book also blasted a solo home run for the Barons! Central has now won 3 straight Section 3 games!

Manheim Central Softball SLUGGED their way to victory over Cocalico... 16-0 in 3 innings! Lady Barons had 3 Home Runs on the night… a pair of 2-Run HR’s for Kayleigh Detz & a 3-Run HR for Miranda Ober ??? ?Career Milestone? Gabby Wettig smacked her 100th hit as a Lady Baron! For the 2nd time this season, Conestoga Valley pushed Warwick to their limits! BUT the Warriors came away with the Win AGAIN… 3-1! Warwick stayed atop the Section 1 standings at 6-1 with a HUGE matchup against Cedar Crest (their only loss in 2024) looming next Tuesday, April 23!
