Ryleigh Warner had 6 goals on the night for the Lady Mounts, while Lyla Clement ended with 4, Kiera Wene had 2! Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! Riley Hostetter got the win in the circle for Manheim Central!
Major STATEMENT WIN for Cedar Crest in the L-L Finals, who not only knocked off 2X Defending League Champ Manheim Central by a score of 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19), BUT handed the Barons their first loss of the year! It’s the Falcons 1st League 🏐🏆 Title in school history! Cedar Crest also won the Section 1 Title for the first time EVER!
