Girls Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (12/17/24)

On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local boys basketball teams! In this conversation, we looked at the Warwick Warriors, who are chasing another Section 2 Title this season! In addition, we talked about Manheim Central's season & Trey Grube quickly approaching the 1,000th point milestone! Warwick wins & advances in the District 3 Playoffs for the first time since finishing 6th in the 2010 District 3 Tournament! Surprise surprise, Senior Kai Cipalla led all scorers with 24 points; Tate Landis had 21 points (5-3’s in 4th QT)! Warwick moves onto Friday's Quarterfinal round where they face #3 Central Dauphin (15-1)!

In one of the most EXCITING & entertaining wrestling matches of the year… Warwick knocked off Manheim Central 39-27 for their first win of the season! The Warriors took an early 14-0 lead over the Barons with wins at 121, 127, & 133! But Central dug themselves out of a big hole with pins from AJ Hondru (172), Noah Templin (189), & Brodie Daugherty (FFT-215) to lead it 27-23! However, Julian Rodriguez’s pin at 285 catapulted Warwick back into the lead and the Warriors finished strong for the victory!
