Field Hockey: Lebanon vs. Cocalico (9-29-22)

Northern Lebanon picked up a 13-2 win over Cocalico in non-league action! Vikings Senior pitcher Brian Bicksler (2-1) was strong on the mound (5.1 IP, 3H, 2 R, 7 K) in the Win! Northern Lebanon's 2-3-4 hitters (Adrian Gonzalez, Connor Stoltz, Riley Messinger) were a combined 7-9 at the plate with 6 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles & 2 walks! Cocalico pushed across to runs late in the 6th inning, but could not hold off the Vikings offensive attack!

Northern Lebanon improved to 4-1, while Cocalico dropped to 1-4!

Warwick baseball wraps up a stellar regular season with a 16-2 overall record! This afternoon on Senior Day, the Warriors beat Manheim Township 5-3… sweeping the rival Blue Streaks & cruising thru Section 1 with a 9-1 record!

Defending League Champ Cedar Crest is headed back to the L-L League Finals after knocking off Conestoga Valley 57-45 in the League Semifinals! RJ Young led a Senior heavy Falcons squad with 17 points & Danny Speaks added 12! CV’s Freshman Phenom DeMere Salisbery led all scorers with 19 points!

Senior RB Andre Weidman scored 4 TD’s in his Final game at War Memorial Field & went over the 3,000 yard career rushing mark… an Ephrata Football Program RECORD ?? No other Mount has hit the 3K mark rushing! Congrats to Andre on the career milestone & to the Mounts for a BIG Win!
