Ephrata Football 2021 Season Preview

Coming into Week 10, Warwick was in a Win & get help to make the District 3 Playoffs scenario! Warriors took care of the first part, beating Manheim Central 6-3 in a defensive struggle! Reece Harper scored the games only TD with an 11 yard run in the 4th quarter!

▪️Warwick finished 5-5 overall (4-2 in Section 3) & qualified for Districts as the last time in at #12!

▪️Manheim Central finished 3-7 overall (1-5 in Section 3)... their season is over!

Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left! Cocalico beats Donegal 2-1! Trent Dickson threw a gem & got the Win! -- Eagles won the season series 2-1

Manheim Central narrowly escaped Ephrata with a 30-29 victory that came down to the Final bout of the night! After a hard fought, back & forth match that saw Central lead early and Ephrata fight all the way back to take the lead… Barons Brodie Daugherty (189lbs) won by tech fall (19-4) to seal the Win!
