2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Cocalico Eagles (8-2-24)
Cocalico Head Coach Bryan Strohl & several of his players sat down with us at this year's football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Last year, the Eagles made it back to back 5A District 3 Championships... BUT came up 2 yards short in the State Semifinals! Now they look to replace a ton of Senior leadership heading into the 2024 Season! Hear how Cocalico plans to do that with a different group of guys!

L-L Wrestling: Cocalico vs. Warwick (1-19-22)
?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Boys Volleyball: Garden Spot vs. Cocalico (4-9-24)
Cocalico took care of business against Garden Spot winning 3-0! Senior Yohanis Hildebrand had 10 kills for the Eagles, who have won 3 in a row, all by sweep! Cocalico sits in 2nd place tie with Elizabethtown in Section 2 with BIG matches coming up at Ephrata (April 11) & home against Elizabethtown (April 16)!
Softball: Warwick vs. Manheim Central (3/26/25)
Warwick and Manheim Central braved the elements for a non-league showdown in L-L Softball! Warwick came away with the victory 11-2 over Central! Warriors jumped out to an early 4-0 lead & tacked on more to lead it 8-0 after 3 innings! Warwick's Mackenzie Ellis, Sophia Steffy & Sophie Smutz each had a pair of hits & runs to get the Offense going! Warriors Pitching Ace Kate Shaak (7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 13 K) went the distance for her 37th Career Win! Central’s Kayleigh Detz had a triple & a single (her courtesy runner scored both runs)... Abbi Logan had a pair of RBI singles!
